Colombian artist Maluma has announced the May 15 release of his seventh studio album Loco x Volver, via PARIS LG LTD, a record he says he has been working on for the past two years.

Watch the new video for the title track below:

“You have no idea — the sheer happiness, the excitement I feel right now — to finally be able to share this news with you," he told fans in an Instagram video, adding that the title, which loosely translates from Spanish to mean "dying to return" was inspired by missing the person he used to be before finding fame as Maluma:

“I missed Juan Luis; I missed my true essence, that dreamer of a boy, and now, I’m back. I’m doing well now; I feel strong, happy, and excited. This is an album that helped me heal, and without a doubt, it is the most personal project I have ever created. This is a very special moment for me – one that I hope resonates with you all – an album that truly represents my roots and my culture.”

Loco x Volver is out May 15. Pre-order here.

The 14-song tracklist has not yet been confirmed, but we do know that it will include four previously released tracks: “Pa’ la Seca” with Ryan Castro, "1+1" with Kany Garcia, "BOTERO" with Arcángel and NTG, and "Con el corazón" with Colombian singer Yeison Jiménez, who tragically died in a plane crash earlier this year.
