Later this August, Mac DeMarco will go on tour across several cities in the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe. Why? To promote his new record, of course.

However, not much is known about the record at all, but according to a press release, it does have an estimated release date. "I have an album coming in August, see you at the shows," says DeMarco.

The new album follows up the singer-songwriter's 2023 record, One Wayne G. With 199 mostly-instrumental tracks and a run time surpassing nine hours, that record aimed to document his musical evolution over the past five years, according to an interview with Associated Press. Details on his seventh studio album are forthcoming.

Tickets for Mac DeMarco's tour go on sale on Friday, April 11 at 9 am PT (12 pm ET). Attendees for the Los Angeles, CA and Santa Barbara, CA performances can purchase tickets on Thursday, April 10 at 9 am PT (12 pm ET). Though the tour starts in August, it carries on between the US, Europe, and Canada until December.
