Earlier today, indie singer-songwriter Lucy Dacus announced that she will travel to four cities across the US this coming February. The artist will debut new, unreleased songs in small, intimate venues in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
With the venue capacity restrictions of her non-traditional chosen sets—she will be performing her music in small churches and museum galleries, as well as an undisclosed secret location in LA—Dacus implemented a lottery system for ticket distribution. People can register for a concert of their choice and request tickets on the artist's website, where the third-party platfrom managing the requests will distribute them randomly. The lottery is currently open and will close on December 19 at 12 pm ET.
The An Evening with Lucy Dacus tour announcement comes amidst growing rumors that Dacus might release new music soon. Aside from stating that she will debut new songs at these upcoming performances, the indie singer-songwriter has done the typical social media cleanse—deleting all Instagram posts and tweets before posting new content, redesigning her website, changing her profile picture on her handles—that many artists do before announcing a new album cycle. News on any new music in 2025 from Dacus herself is, however, still unconfirmed.
