Lil Wayne’s Cetaphil Ad suggests 'Tha Carter VI' arrives June 6, 2025

Lil Wayne just dropped a major Easter egg for his fans hidden inside a Cetaphil commercial.

The extended ad, titled "We’re All a Lil Sensitive", plays off his reaction to being passed over as the Super Bowl LIX halftime performer in favor of Kendrick Lamar. After clearing the air with Kendrick, Wayne appears to be having fun with the moment, setting the stage for what’s next: his long-awaited album.

Co-starring dermatologist Dr. Muneeb Shah, the ad sees Wayne swoop in with Cetaphil to help people navigate "sensitive" situations.

But the real surprise? Repeated references to Tha Carter VI, specifically the date 6-6-25, which appears on jerseys, a scoreboard, and most notably, a door sign reading: Do Not Disturb Til’ 06-06-25 CARTER VI. Given Wayne recently confirmed the album is coming this year, this strongly the June 6th release is accurate.

While Wayne won’t be in New Orleans on Super Bowl Sunday, he’ll still be making an appearance, at least on TV. The Cetaphil spot is set to air exclusively in his hometown during the big game, maintaining his connection to The Boot in his own way.

Wayne said:

“What attracted me to this project was the chance to flip the script. Showing a sensitive side isn’t a weakness—it’s a power. There’s nothing more real than turning those types of moments into a display of strength. This campaign made perfect sense to me. The world knew I was disappointed, but what they didn’t know was that it made me determined to deliver something way bigger.”

And if Tha Carter VI really does drop in June, Wayne’s about to turn that power into a full-blown takeover.
