Popular rapper Lil Durk has been found not guilty in the murder of Saviay'a "Lul Pab" Robinson. The jury exonerated Durk on charges that included stalking resulting in death, conspiracy, and murder for hire.
The trial, which lasted for two weeks in Los Angeles focused on Durk’s involvement in the botched attempted murder of rapper Quando Rondo. While Durk was found not guilty for this case, he will still be in for a pending trial related to racketeering.
Durk’s legal team told the jury that the attempted hit on Quando Rondo was orchestrated by Durk’s former personal assistant Kavon Grant.
Grant would end up testifying against Durk in court and plead guilty for being involved in the murder. Other associates of Durk such as Kacey Hester and Keith Jones took plea deals. Had Durk been found guilty, he would have faced life in prison.
