King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard bring back Field of Vision Festival, announce NYC residency

Today, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard announced Field Of Vision II, the second iteration of their Colorado music festival that was inaugurated this year. The three-day event will return to Meadow Creek camping grounds in Buena Vista, CO on August 14 to 16, 2026. Afterward, the band will travel to New York City for a three-night residency at Forest Hills Stadium — the only tour dates they have planned for 2026.

"Field of Vision I was so special," said the band via press release. "Anyone who was there would tell you there was some magic in the air. Or maybe the creek water… So grateful to party with you all again."

Like their first festival, King Gizzard promise to play a set every night, getting support from other bands throughout the day. This year, the following artists announced are: Blood Incantation, Die Spitz, DJ Crenshaw, Earth Tongue, Etran de L'Aïr, Folk Bitch Trio, Lisa Bella Donna, Pattie Gonia, and Upchuck. The band will anounce more acts soon.

From August 20 to 23, King Gizzard will perform a headlining show at New York City's Forest Hills Stadium, dedicating two nights of their residency to rock shows pulling from their 27-album discography. The final night will be a rave.

The band is currently on their Australia tour, finishing off the last bit of their 2025 tour.

Tickets for Field Of Vision II will go on sale this Friday, December 5 at 12 pm ET. The sale for the Forest Hills residency will occur at the same time.

2026 Tour dates:

08/20 Forest Hills, NY @ Forest Hills Stadium
08/21 Forest Hills, NY @ Forest Hills Stadium
08/22 Forest Hills, NY @ Forest Hills Stadium (RAVE)
