Kendrick Lamar song leaked on YouTube before being quickly taken down by UMG

The mystery thickens, as Kendrick Lamar’s leaked track, “Money Without Me,” is taken down from YouTube.

Recorded during the sessions from his debut album, Section.80,  the track was uploaded to Lamar’s official YouTube channel on 17 December, 2024, but was taken down the following day by a copyright claim from his label, Universal Music Group.

The song had music publications (including us) and fans buzzing: who had uploaded the track, how it was uploaded to his official channel, and was it a teaser for an upcoming release? Some fans speculated it could be a hint for a deluxe version of GNX, and others believed it could be hinting at an entirely new album.

For now, it remains a mystery.
