Kara-Lis Coverdale announces two more albums due for release in 2025

Earlier this year, Kara Lis-Coverdale returned to music after an eight-year break with From Where You Came, a time-travelling electronic composition inspired by aliens, program music, modular synths, and the birth of electricity.

But today, the composer and instrumentalist followed up that record with the announcement of two more, both released via Smalltown Supersound. A Series of Actions in a Sphere Forever comes out September 12, and Changes in Air follows on November 21.

To accompany the announcement of A Series of Action in a Sphere Forever, Kara-Lis Coverdale shared the first single, "Turning Multitudes". Listen to it below:

Unlike her previous compositions on From Where You Came, "Turning Multitudes" focuses primarily on acoustic piano, performing nocturnes inspired by impressionists like Debussy, Satie, and Chopin.

"This album is an exploration of harmony in space, music as an antithesis to silence," says Kara-Lis Coverdale of the LP via press release. "A silence that does not exist."

Coverdale will also partake in special performances in the US before embarking on a brief European and UK tour to promote the upcoming albums. On September 14, she will appear at the Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago, IL for the annual celebration of Mort Garson's seminal 1976 electronic record, Mother Earth's Plantasia. She will then perform a solo piano concert in New York City the following day.
