Following the May release of From Where You Came, her first album in 8 years, Kara-Lis Coverdale surprised fans just a few months later with news of two more albums planned for 2025.
The second of those albums, A Series of Actions in a Sphere Forever, dropped on September 12, and now the build up begins for the final instalment Changes in Air, due November 21 on Smalltown Supersound.

The five pieces on the album were composed, played, and recorded solo in Montréal way back in 2019, but not completed until earlier this year. Originally written for an installation at a floating sauna in Oslo, Norway, Changes in Air is a work for electric organ, modular synths, and piano. Inspired by the location, Coverdale's arrangements are said to be influenced by five "materials": wood, water, sun, glass, and metal.
