Jerskin Fendrix returns with new single "Sk1"

Earlier today, experimental pop artist and Oscar-nominated composer Jerskin Fendrix surprise-dropped "Sk1", a new single. He has also been hinting at the eventual release of his sophomore record all year, changing his icons on social media and streaming platforms to the simple text, "JERSKIN 2025."

Listen to "Sk1" below:

Fendrix released his debut experimental pop album, Winterreise, in 2020. Since then, the artist attracted the attention of filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, who commissioned him to compose the score for Poor Things (2023). Fendrix received an Oscar nomination for his score but lost to Ludwig Göransson and Oppenheimer. The artist then returned for Lanthimos's follow-up feature, Kinds of Kindness (2024), and also composed the score for the director's upcoming film, Bugonia.

The UK artist also shared "Jerskin Fendrix Freestyle", a frantic, jazz band-supported rambling of sorts, on April 1.

The artist has not made an official announcement about a possible sophomore record yet.
