Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell flipped out mid-song during the band's show in Boston last night, barging into guitarist Dave Navarro screaming "Fuck you" and trying to land a punch when Navarro tried to push him away.
A still-agitated Farrell was then bundled off stage by bassist Eric Avery and crew members, bringing the show – and possibly the band – abruptly to an end.
There was no apparent provocation on the part of a shocked looking Navarro, although reports on X say that trouble had been brewing between the two men since a couple of songs earlier.
I was there. The crowd was bemused. Half pissed the show ended early and half excited we may have seen the last Janes A show ever.

Navarro only recently rejoined the band after being sidelined with long Covid since 2021. After Farrell left the stage, Navarro, Avery, and Jane's Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins – who was celebrating his 57th birthday – hugged each other and gave thanks to the crowd. The band recently released a new single "Imminent Redemption", their first with the original lineup in 34 years.
Jane's Addiction have 15 shows left on their current tour... if they still go ahead.
