HAIM finally share "Relationships"

At 2:30 pm, the sister trio HAIM released "Relationships," a new single they've been hyping up since the end of last February. This is their first single since 2023's "Home," which appeared on the Barbie soundtrack.

The band also released an accompanying "Relationships" music video, directed by Camille Summers Valli and featuring Drew Starkey. Watch it below:

The new single attempts to capture the complicated feelings about modern dating. "What’s all this talk about relationships?" the pre-chorus begins. "It feels like everyone's caught up in it / Oh just you wait you must be new to this!" The hook of the song adds, "I think I’m in love but I can’t stand / Fucking relationships."

HAIM originally debuted the song at a private listening party in London last week, according to the band's Instagram page.

The Haim sisters have not released a new record since 2020's Women in Music, Pt. III. While the band have yet to confirm if "Relationships" is part of a bigger project, they have been dropping hints of a big return. Late last month, for instance, they posted a series of short clips promoting their new single, emphasizing "We're back!"
