Gunna is entering a new artistic era, and he’s ready to show fans a preview of Splurge with “Pop It.” The single is set to release on October 9 and features artwork with ornate lettering and his birth year, 1993.

He also posted a preview of the song’s video, in which he does push-ups on the back of a drop-top convertible. Watch it below.

“Pop It” officially marks a return to solo music after 2025’s The Last Wun. Elsewhere, he's been on an incredible fitness journey, and recently completed a 5K race in Atlanta and is taking his Wunna Run Club globally.

Gunna doesn’t have a release date for his new album yet. In an interview with Forbes, he stated the meaning behind Splurge. “I want to tap into my new next level that I’ve been tapping in with,” he explained. “I want to introduce that, which is Splurge. This upper-echelon artist who’s gravitated to another level.”
