Gojira announce intimate St. Louis show, proceeds going to local food bank

Gojira have booked a show at The Sovereign in St. Louis on September 18, a last-minute addition to their recent touring schedule. The 1,200-capacity venue marks a smaller setting than the band’s recent run of festival dates and tour support slots.

Tickets are $30, with all proceeds going to Operation Food Search, which the band described as the city’s largest independent food bank. The organization reports feeding 200,000 people a month. In announcing the show, the band said it’s “going to be loud and all of it goes to keeping people fed.”

Locked Shut will support the show, and tickets are on sale now through Gojira’s website. The band’s only other currently scheduled date is September 20 at the Louder Than Life festival.
