Geordie Greep might be addicted to touring at this point, as he just announced another batch of shows earlier today. The UK artist, who built up a reputation for his free jazz-like live performances, will be heading to several cities across Europe next month. This, of course, adds to his running list of shows in the US and Canada set for spring.
"I’m returning to the great continent of Europe next month for a great tour in trio format," Greep wrote on his social media. This round of gigs will be a switch-up from his regular show, which usually entails a full band and variations of the tracks featured on his 2024 debut, The New Sound.
"The music will be shifting and improvisatory," he teased, "investigative new music, planned or not planned, and the revisiting of many old songs too. It’s gonna be at points very powerful and at points very soft. All of you Europeans come."
Greep will be playing his first show of the year tonight at the Brixton Windmill, kicking off the London venue's celebration of the annual Independent Venue Week. For those who were lucky enough to snag a ticket before it sold out, you'll be able to see him playing in the trio format after sets by Defender and Khusanov.
Tickets for the European leg of his 2026 tour go on sale this Friday, January 30. The North America tickets are available now.
