Ganser share “Futuretripping,” first new single since 2025 LP

The Chicago post-punk band Ganser have released their first single since their 2025 LP, "Futuretripping." The track arrives alongside a music video directed by the band's bassist and vocalist, Alicia Gaines. Watch the video below:

The track comes from the idea of time feeling warped, and mixing mundane moments with bizarre ones. After coming back home from touring in Europe, the band found their own sense of time distorted, and "reaching into tomorrow for a little more of today."

In a press release, Brian Cundiff, drummer, says of the track:

"Everybody’s waiting for the sign to change. People tend to wait around to be fed what they should react to these days, what to do, and I suppose there’s a bit of that restlessness in the music and lyrics as well. It’s an agitation that it’s not tomorrow while also wanting more time today, right now."

The quartet recently announced their tour with Bikini Kill, which begins on September 13. See those dates down below.
