Ontario deathcore unit Flesh Prison have debuted a new song titled "Bonesplitter," the first single taken from their upcoming EP When I Met Death, due out later this year via Papercut Recordings.

"Lyrically and visually, the song imagines a truly reprehensible person meeting a horrific demise, followed by a descent beyond the 9 rings of hell into something even darker and more unforgiving. We kept the entire release in house from start to finish. Matt Andrews handled the production, mixing, and mastering, while Brett Wright and Hayley Wright brought the visual side to life through the music video, artwork, and VFX."
Back in January, the band announced their signing to Papercut Recordings, spearheaded by Brand of Sacrifice's Michael Leo Valeri and Fit for a King's Ryan "Tuck" O'Leary.
In conjunction with the signing, the band released the standalone single "Sent Through A Woodchipper," another fast, violent release of anger rooted in the raw energy of the OG MySpace deathcore era.
After a successful run of dates earlier this year with The Last Ten Seconds of Life, Traitors, The Crimson Armada and Nailed Shut, the band plans to head out on a weekender with Pneumonia Breath and Knifetalk in November.
