Popular country singer, Ella Langley just made history by having her song “Choosin’ Texas” spend 23 weeks at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. This breaks the record which was previously held by Mariah Carey for her song, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

The last country song to reach at least 19 weeks at #1 was “A Bar Song (Tipsy)“ by Shaboozy in 2024.

Langley has had a very productive 2026 on the charts. She has had three songs released this year that have all charted within the top 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. ”Loving Life Again” peaking at 21, “I Can’t Love You Anymore“ ft Morgan Wallen climbing to 4 and “Be Her” reaching 2. Her album Dandelion made it to #1 on the Billboard for three week.
