The tour de force speed metal band DragonForce announced today (May 6) that Alissa White-Gluz has joined the group as its newest singer and frontwoman. Formerly of the death metal band Arch Enemy, White-Gluz will be sharing center stage with the band's current singer, Marc Hudson.
She will make her live debut with the band this weekend, Saturday, May 9, at the Welcome to Rockville music festival in Daytona Beach Florida.
White-Gluz teased the announcement in an Instagram post, singing the band's seminal "Through the Fire and Flames." Watch here:
DragonForce is also celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2006 record, Inhuman Rampage, the album featuring "Through the Fire and Flames." Although no official plans have been revealed, the band's PR has stated that an anniversary tour is in the works, as well as a new studio album.
On White-Gluz joining the band, Herman Li, founder and lead guitarist for DragonForce said, "Alissa joining the band is an expansion of everything we've done up to this point. Having Alissa in the room changes everything. She doesn't just sing, she makes all aspects of our music better. And she sounds incredible live!"

White-Gluz previously collaborated with the band in 2025, featuring on the song and music video "Burning Heart" from DragonForce's 2024 album, Warp Speed Warriors.
