Lauren Bennett, the English pop singer best known for her feature on LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem," has died at 37. Members of her former band G.R.L. released a statement confirming the news.
"We will forever cherish the love, laughter, and countless memories she gave us," the statement reads in part.
Bennett began her solo career in 2010 after spending time as a member of Paradiso Girls, working with the likes of will.i.am and CeeLo Green before featuring on the iconic "Party Rock Anthem" in 2011.
She subsequently joined G.R.L., which disbanded in 2015. Following their breakup, Bennett released solo song "Hurricane," inspired by the mental health battles of her mother and close friend.
No cause of death has yet been revealed.
