Donald Glover postpones remainder of North American tour dates due to ill health

After canceling last night's performance in Houston, TX at short notice, Donald Glover has taken to social media to announce that the remainder of the North American dates on his New World Tour – intended as a swansong for his Childish Gambino persona – will be postponed due to an undisclosed health problem, promising that all tickets will still be valid when the shows are rescheduled.

Since kicking off in Oklahoma City on 11 August, the New World Tour has rolled through 18 North American cities – well, 17 if you count the fact that technical issues forced the cancellation in Uncasville, CT a couple of weeks ago – including a two-night stand at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn described by Variety as "visually and musically dazzling."

The tour was meant to resume tomorrow in Austin, but, for now at least, Glover's next show will be on 31 October in Lyon, France.
