Today, 17 October, exactly one year after Danny Brown unveiled “Tantor”, the lead single from his latest studio album Quaranta, the Detroit rapper announces a Deluxe edition of his full-length project.
Quaranta (Deluxe) is out at midnight (18 October) via Warp Records. It includes two new tracks and four instrumentals. Bruiser Wolf, a member of Brown’s label and hip-hop group Bruiser Brigade, has previewed his appearance on the first track of the deluxe, “Cheaters”; he also features on “Y.B.P.” from the same LP.
Brown has recently linked up with hyperpop artist 8485 in the studio, as he announced in a post on X, writing in the caption “Album mode”. The experimental artist has been on a run of collaborations for the past month, appearing on Alice Longyu Gao’s single “Bird W/O Nest” and femtanyl’s “M3 n MIN3”.
