Just in time for Halloween, Ryan Gosling and Zach Shields’ musical project Dead Man's Bones has returned with “Lost In The Night,” via ANTI-Records, marking the duo’s first release in 17 years.
The track was produced with long-time collaborator Tim Anderson and is accompanied by a black-and-white music video that depicts two people wandering city streets, dancing and embracing each other throughout the night.

After trying to find the right place to record, the duo settled on driving to a farm outside L.A. and recorded the song in a single day. Besides utilizing the natural sounds of the farm with crickets and frogs in the background, all they brought with them was two guitars, two drum machines, and two synthesizers.
Dead Man's Bones seemingly fell into obscurity after their debut self-titled record released in 2009, after Gosling and Shields' respective careers in the film industry began to blossom. Despite the long gap between their releases, the duo had developed a cult following with new listeners finding the pair's music online and through television and film.
