Dawn Richard has been expanding the boundaries of R&B for more than a decade now, and her last solo LP, 2021's Second Line: An Electro Revival, connected her themes explicitly to the music of New Orleans. The artist said:

"[2016's] New Breed was the story of New Orleans through my father’s eyes, Second Line was my mom…but the story felt unfinished, like my version of the story was untold.*

Now she returns with Creole Culture, which will presumably build on the same themes and features NOLA icon Big Freedia on the intro. Listen to the new single "Enough" and view the album art below.
