This morning, British rock band Coldplay announced eight UK live dates across Wembley Stadium and Hull. In a bid to tackle the closure crisis of grassroots venues, the band will donate 10% of their proceeds to Music Venue Trust (MVT).

In addition, all shows will be 100% powered by solar, wind and kinetic energy. The announcement follows the band's sensational sell-out summer 2024 European Music Of The Spheres World Tour.

Fans can get exclusive early access to tickets by pre-ordering the band's forthcoming album Moon Music, scheduled for release 4 October.

General sales for Wembley and Hull start at 9am BST Friday 27 September.
