Contrasting the goth darkness of "House" and the baroque pop of "Chains of Love", Charli xcx's new single "Wall Of Sound" offers a sweeping, strings-heavy love ballad. The track will appear on the pop artist's upcoming soundtrack for Emerald Fennell's adaptation of Wuthering Heights, out February 13.

The song strips back the electronic production heard in the other tracks. It focuses mainly on Charli xcx's singular vocals against a flurry of strings. Her electronic touch is still present, however, notably manifesting in her echoing, autotuned harmonies swirling around her.
