Looks like Brat summer might extend far beyond the actual summer. In a new interview with Vulture, popular British producer and artist Charli XCX teases collaborations with Bon Iver's Justin Vernon and Haim's Danielle Haim.
Charli XCX has previously worked with Haim and her two siblings on the song "Warm", which you can revisit below.
In the aforementioned article, Charli backpedals on her controversial 'Kamala IS Brat'-tweet, saying it was a “positive and lighthearted” commentary rather than an outright endorsement of the Vice President and Democratic candidate.
This hasn't exactly prevented Democrats and high-profile endorsers of the Harris campaign from totally running with it, co-opting Brat summer to appeal to younger voters. “I’m happy to help prevent democracy form failing forever,” Charli was quoted in elsewhere in the Vulture profile piece. “I obviously knew what I was doing." Furthermore, Charli teased a film collaboration with Jeremy O. Harris and another full-length that's “definitely in the bratosphere, so to speak.”
In the wake of Brat's release, Charli XCX released a series of high-profile remixes, including "Girl, so confusing", featuring Lorde, and "Guess", alongside Billie Eilish. You can watch the official video for the latter below. The 32-year old pop icon said there will be one more remix revealed before autumn.
