Charli xcx shares music video for "Chains of Love"

A weekend after she released the single, Charli xcx has unveiled the music video for "Chains of Love" today. The song appears on the official soundtrack for the upcoming Wuthering Heights film adaptation by Emerald Fennell, alongside thirteen new, original songs (being released as an album of the same name).

The pop star shared last Friday that she wrote the song with Finn Keane and Justin Raisen, both of whom helped her during her debut album, True Romance. "This was one of the last songs I finished writing for this project," she added via a statement posted to social media. "It was important to us for this song to feel like it was on the brink of brokenness whilst still being totally luscious, sumptuous and orgasmic. It kind of makes me feel on overload."
