The C2C Festival returns to New York City's Knockdown Center for the second time ever on May 8, and the lineup for the underground dance and electronic music festival has just been revealed. Arca will be the one-day event's headliner, following performances by Los Thuthunaka, YHWH Nailgun, Elias Rønnenfelt, Nourished By Time, and others.

Beginning in Italy in 2001, the C2C Festival aimed to bring together artists representing the best of the avant-pop and experimental genres, focusing on the cross-pollination between electronic production and beyond. Last year, the European event expanded to New York City, debuting with artists like Nick Léon and Oneohtrix Point Never.

This year, the lineup includes artists from all over the world who've released critically acclaimed records in the past year. Joining the aforementioned artists — who mostly all released records that either topped multiple year-end lists or become cult favorites in the underground/experimental world — is aya, whose unhinged album Hexed! also made waves in the electronic scene. Malibu and Titanic will also perform exclusive album plays for their recent records during their individual sets.

The C2C Festival also promotes exclusive performances by the local pop duo NEW YORK, as well as Avalon Emerson & the Charm.

NYC's live DJ radio station The Lot Radio will also host a Residents Showcase during the festival.
