Brandy and Monica reunite for a co-headlining tour later this fall

This fall, the popular 90s R&B duo Brandy and Monica will embark on a large co-headlining tour across the United States, recruiting a star-studded roster of R&B and pop performers as support.

Called the The Boy Is Mine tour, the duo will be commemorating their hit song and genre-defining careers in 24 arenas with Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and Jamal Roberts.

"This really is a full-circle moment," says Brandy via press release, as printed in Pitchfork. "Monica and I coming together again isn’t just about the music—it’s about honoring where we came from and how far we’ve both come."

Monica added:

"This tour is a celebration of our history, our impact, and the fans who have grown with us. Brandy and I have been on our own unique journeys, and coming back together in this way is a reminder of the power of respect, strength, and real music. We’re giving the people what they’ve been asking for, and doing it with grace, love, and purpose. God’s timing perfectly aligned us."

"The Boy Is Mine", originally released in 1998, surged in popularity last year after Brandy and Monica featured on Ariana Grande's remix, which appeared on her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine.

Tickets for Brandy and Monica's The Boy Is Mine tour go on sale this Friday, June 27.
