Ahead of their August 24 performance at the All Points East Festival (APE) in London, Bombay Bicycle Club will perform for two nights in the UK. The band will be travelling to York and Liverpool for an intimate "warm-up" show, according to NME. Divorce, who will also play at APE on the same day, will support them.
Bombay Bicycle Club will also be supporting The Maccabees during their August 24 slot at the All Points East Festival. They will be reuniting for the first time in 15 years, according to an Instagram post from the band's official page. "We weren’t planning on playing any festivals next summer," wrote Bombay Bicycle Club, "but we couldn’t say no to a reunion with old friends." They later quipped, "Just need to convince The Big Pink and The Drums now," referring to the NME tour they all played in 2010.
The two are headlining a day that also includes appearances by Nilüfer Yanya, Dry Cleaning, The Murder Capital, Divorce, and more.
