BKtherula has a new album on the way. The Atlanta rapper announced N5ON, due October 30, with a brief social media post.
The accompanying cover is a glittering, otherworldly portrait of BKtherula wearing a silver crown, a blue-gray blazer, and an enormous pink feathered collar. Against a cosmic purple backdrop, she winks at the camera, her glossy lips decorated with tiny floral embellishments.
The announcement follows her recent collaboration with electronic producer Whethan on “I GO PUNK,” a high-energy collision of rap, electronic music, and punk influences that offered an early glimpse into the N5ON era.
“I wasn't thinking about rules or genres or trying to make something safe,” BKtherula said of the track. “I just wanted it to feel loud, reckless, fun, and honest.”
The album will continue a run of releases that has seen BKtherula push beyond the boundaries of conventional rap, following her 2024 project LVL5 P2.
Earlier this year, she also joined Denzel Curry, TiaCorine, A$AP Ferg, and Key Nyata in the rap supergroup The Scythe. Their debut project, Strictly 4 the Scythe, arrived in March, featuring BKtherula on “Lit Effect” and “Tan.”
She also released “Addicted2U” with underscores in September, adding another electronic-leaning collaboration to her 2026 output.
N5ON follows her 2025 album Lucy. So far, BKtherula has not revealed its tracklist or featured guests.
