After releasing the single "Cowbella" in June, the London-based trio bar italia return today with the announcement of their next album, Some Like It Hot. The record is out October 17 via Matador Records.

The band also shared their second promotional single, "Fundraiser", as well as an accompanying music video, directed by the band and Simon Mercer and starring Peep Show's Matt King. Watch/listen to it below:

Inspired by the humor and themes of social dynamics and imperfections spelled out in the classic 1959 film of the same name, Some Like It Hot aims to tackle self-identity and performance in twelve rock-infused pop songs.

Following the release of their forthcoming album, bar italia will be embarking on a tour across Europe, the UK, the US, and Canada. Beginning this October, the band will be joined by supporting acts xmal, Voyeur, and Lifeguard for select performances. Tickets are available now.
