The Nashville-based trio Baby Wave have released the new single "The Scene Is Changing" via their new label, Saddle Creek.

Sebastian Kinsler of Feeble Little Horse produced the new track, which explores the changing community surrounding East Nashville's DIY scene. The music video features local bands like Total Wife and Venus and the Flytraps. Check the video out here:

Singer and multi-instrumentalist book NOT brooke describes feeling like an outsider despite finding "the scene," and the pendulum swing of DIY scenes. In a press release, book says, "I think it matters to honor that cycle for what it is. When we wrote this song, it felt like a character study, but now it rings truer than ever, and it makes me emotional every time. It feels like an ode to the ever-changing Nashville DIY scene."
