AZ Chike finally got his Tyler, the Creator feature.

The Los Angeles rappers dropped a new video today for “Look Like My Mama,” a new Tyler-produced single from Chike’s forthcoming album, No Rest for the Wicked. The collaboration arrives with a Stacking Memories-directed video that sends the pair hopping through Hollywood history.

The video begins at the fictional NRFTW High School, where Napoleon Dynamite-esque lockers double as promotion for No Rest for the Wicked. From there, Chike and Tyler cycle through recreations and visual nods to Dead Presidents, Men in Black, Sinners, and Paid in Full before the camera pulls back to reveal a child watching their antics unfold on a television.

Getting Tyler on a song has been on Chike’s agenda for a while. After Tyler FaceTimed him in 2024 and revealed he was a fan of Chike’s “1UP,” Chike began publicly campaigning for the collaboration. In an interview last year, he joked that Tyler had two options: give him a feature or catch a fade.

Chike has cited Tyler’s ability to construct entire worlds around his albums as something he hoped to learn from, praising the way the rapper turns individual records into distinct eras.

"When you play this five years from now, you're gonna remember where you were, what the air smells like and you know, that's just the power of music," he said.

“Look Like My Mama” arrives after a particularly busy stretch for Chike. His profile exploded following his appearance on “peekaboo” from Kendrick Lamar’s 2024 album, GNX. He has since kept moving, collaborating with 6LACK and Leon Thomas on “All That Matters,” working with Hit-Boy on recent single “Packed Up,” and appearing alongside artists including Ray Vaughn, Rucci, and Peysoh.

Now Chike is turning that momentum toward No Rest for the Wicked, due September 18 via Warner Records.

He is also taking the album on the road. Earlier this week, Chike announced the No Rest for the Wicked Tour, his first solo headlining run. The North American trek begins October 5 in Houston and will travel through Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, and other cities before wrapping November 9 in Seattle.
