The "cinematic ceremony" takes place 8 November at Los Angeles Equestrian Center.
The album takes its title from a quote by Marilyn Monroe and was inspired by female film stars from the golden age of Hollywood.
"There is no room for subtlety when it comes to advocating for every single human being, for our trans family especially," says Merrill Garbus.
