Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. comes through with lyrical fire, setting things absolutely straight with a series of bars that address the frustration of trying to appeal to a fickle mainstream audience. K.R.I.T. doesn’t seem happy to load his songs with “MOLLY” and trap-centric themes, which is fine. For me, his talent will do, and he brings more of that than I expected, delivering his verses with one of the fastest flows I’ve ever heard him perform. Can’t wait to see where he goes after this.
