Stream: Murmur – “Bull of Crete”
Chicago’s Murmur is making some of the strangest, most exciting metal music today. The quartet is set drop its self-titled sophomore album next week, and above, you can stream its nine-minute-long second track, “Bull of Crete.” The playing on this multi-phased piece is freaking tight and the beyond-virtuoso percussion of drummer Charlie Werber is really on display here.
