When Arizona’s Destruction Unit named this track “The World On Drugs,” I guess they weren’t messing around. The song feels like a multi-phased trip that starts like a piece of hardcore punk, but suddenly shapeshifts into some slow-moving heavy psych. All the while, the band’s guitars are loud, distorted, phased, and enveloping.
While the song doesn’t really have a strong hook or melodic flavor, the riffs are unrelenting and the vocals come through as being pretty eccentric. Give a listen, go wild, break something. Enjoy!
