Stream: SBTRKT- “Twice Bitten”
An older track from UK electronic music producer SBTRKT, but it’s pretty new to me, heh. I reviewed his self-titled album earlier this year and threw it up on the LOVED LIST. I remember one of my issues with that LP was SBTRKT’s music would have been pretty bland were it not for the vocalists he invited to sing over his stuff. However, I don’t feel like that’s the case for “Twice Bitten.”
SBTRKT manages to pull together a series of sounds that are bright, layered, and bouncy. Still, they manage to add up to a really chill and relaxed atmosphere. Very nice stuff.
