Out now via What’s Your Rupture?, here’s a track from the new Comet Gain album, Howl of the Lonely Crowd.
These guys are a longstanding indie rock acts from England, and their sounds proves it. Their messy and edgy approach to writing rock tunes is reminiscent of underground rock from the 90s. That’s something the nostalgic side of me can get into.
On the track “An Arcade From The Warm Rain That Falls,” a violin and a calm but shaky vocal steal the spotlight, some feel-good guitar leads jump into the mix right after. Some straightforward drumming propels the whole thing forward, and the total package just feels, well, kinda blissful.
What do you think?
