In a fantasy collaboration I couldn’t have possibly dreamed up, the Flaming Lips and Lightning Bolt have dropped a new track, “I Wanna Get High But I Don’t Want Brain Damage.”
The truth is, who doesn’t?
I love what this track offers in terms of noise, but maybe I’m not huge on the simple and lumbering bass and drums. Still, the vocals are hilarious, and the video only adds to the absurdity. It looks like a combination of Animal Collective’s ODDSAC and a Rathergood music video like “the Moon.”
