Hip Hop music’s tendency to be very personal has always been one of my major attractions to it. If you feel the same way, then Nemo Achida’s new EP is a short and sweet Tumblr post about a Southern boy’s newly found life in New York.

Here’s some text that came along with the album:

“6 months ago I left my family, friends, & relationship back in Kentucky on the pursuit of opportunity. […] I wanted to document my experience….& rap just so happens to be my only outlet, whomp :::. ENJOY!”

The beats are pretty on point as well. Though the recording isn’t fantastic, this guy’s got a flow and a blossoming personality.
