The Strokes have dropped a new video for “Under Cover of Darkness,” which I audio review’d the day it dropped. The band has also released a new song, “You’re So Right,” to keep the saliva coming for their forthcoming album,Angles. Check the, uh, cover:
“You’re So Right” reminds me of frontman Julian Casablancas’ recent solo album with its rigid electronic foundation, but the songwriting is still pretty decent. I’m loving the burst of guitar distortion that finishes the song off, and the recurring addition of background vocals to the band’s repertoire. They really made “Under Cover” a treat, and they’re turning this song into something fun to listen to as well. Stream the track below:
