A while back, in a blogTV, the UK’s Recommender recommended this track from the band Fiction. I absolutely loved it, picking up whiffs of Talking Heads and that new Vampire Weekend record at the same time. Weird, I know. Anyway, Hit Club released a 7” for this track back

Some jangly and dream-inducing pop from Puro Instinct on the single “Stilyagi.” Even Ariel Pink hops in on this track and helps out with a little background vocals and production. The track is from the project’s forthcoming album, Headbangers in Ecstasy, which is due for release on Mexican Summer.
