You hate to see one of the biggest and most significant pop stars of the '80s go down like this, but it is what it is. Because yeah, right now, Boy George is in the midst of an ongoing tailspin over a lot of different things, most recently, I guess, getting mad at his band for not wanting to play his garbage-ass reggae AI song.

"There are people in my band who are questioning whether they'll perform it with me, and those people will be fired. I don't need gatekeepers, and one of the great things about AI is it removes all the interference, all the human interference."

Yes, Boy George came out with a reggae AI song, and the lyrics are all about how much he loves Israel and the IDF and supports the genocide that is going on over there right now with their current military actions in Palestine. And yeah, not only is Boy George making a total fool of himself, but he's using AI to do it with this absolutely cringe garbage instrumental. And yeah, apparently if you're on George's team, if you're performing with George, you're getting the cut if you refuse to play this song.

Yeah, if you as a musician and an artist decide that you have enough self-worth and enough soul to refuse to play this track, it's not gonna work for George. Again: gross, awful, you hate to see it.
