Anthony Fantano here, and these are my top five rock albums of 2025.

At Number Five, we are going to go with Australia's Tropical F-Storm, Fairyland Codex. This is definitely one of the heaviest and most dystopian albums you can put your ears to in 2025 with gnarly guitars, unruly vocal harmonies.

At Number Four, we are going with Model/Actriz, Pirouette. Love this band's continued devotion to super groovy, dark, no wave music and post-punk, with some of their hookiest tunes and catchiest choruses to date.

At Three, we are going with Viagra Boys, Viagr Aboys. Swedish post-punk weirdos come through with another great LP, and it's one that sees them throwing back to a lot of '90s vibes while also commenting on a lot of mental health and physical health stuff.

After this, at Number Two, we are going with Guerilla Toss', You're Weird Now. What else can I say other than that this is maybe the most fun album of 2025? It is truly a psych alien funk epic with one zany song after another.

Then at Number One, we are going with Geese, Getting Killed.
