Hey, bestie. Guess what? It's my top five favorite electronic music and experimental records of 2025. Here they are.
Number Five, the new Rochelle Jordan album, Through the Wall. Incredible dreamy entrancing house vibes all over this thing. And Rochelle's vocals, blending elements of pop and soul and RnB, are very sweet, very pretty on the ear. Great project.
Next, [Number Four], shout out to the new Oneohtrix Point Never album, Tranquilizer. Daniel Lopatin comes through with some of his most mind-bending productions to date. Truly, this man's music continues to sound like it's from another dimension entirely.
At Number Three, we're going with one of the biggest breakouts of 2025, award winner, Ninajirachi, I Love My Computer. Really awesome electronic dance music album, all about technological nostalgia.
At Number Two, we are going to go with miffle, goodbye, world! Really great tape music album with amazing passages of violin and acoustic guitar. Of course, all being treated through these extensive tape manipulation processes that lead to all of these wonderful, wintery, and absolutely gorgeous, headphone-listen type soundscapes that you got to hear.
And then at Number One, we are going with Jane Remover, Revengeseekerz. Jane Remover has just really mastered the art of maxed-out production on this project in a series of electronic and pop fusions that will just set your brain on fire.
What do you think?
