If you're not an Apple Music user, you might not know that for years, one of the platform's quirky little personality traits is that occasionally they would do these cool little album cover animation things where you will see the album cover of the record you're listening to moving on screen in some way. Could be either a neat little visual effect or figures on the cover if there are any engaging in some motion.

But recently, some fans are noticing that some of these newer animations behind some pretty classic album covers are clearly AI and very unsettling, very uncanny.

This Avril Lavigne one – why is she melting? Her face is literally melting, and it breaks my heart.

But for a moment, there was an AI moving visual cover for LCD Soundsystem's, This Is Happening. Why is James Murphy looking at me? Or a guy who looks nothing like James Murphy.

They even ruined the Blade Runner cover, bro! The Blade Runner cover! Apple, this is not cute.

You used to be clearly one of the better music streaming platforms out there. This is not classy! This is tacky! Stop this!
