Rough Trade's Top Ten of 2025

Rough Trade. Shout out to them. They just came out with their top albums of 2025. Let's take a look at the top 10.

At 10, we have Haley Williams's Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.

At number 9, we have caroline with caroline 2.

At number 8, we have the new Jason Isbell album, surprisingly.

At number 7, we have Samia, Bloodless. I will admit, I have not tried this album at all. Apparently, I need to make some time for it.

At number 6, we have the new Black Country New Road, which is personally a great album to me.

And at number 5, we've got the new Turnstile. I very much preferred their last album, honestly, but this one still had a lot of highlights on it.

Then at number 4, we have a one-two of the new Geese record, but also the new Cameron Winter record, which came out at the tail end of 2024. Getting Killed may, in fact, go down as the best rock record of the year.

At number 3, we have the Pulp album, More, which is one that I have been revisiting here and there, given that Britpop is back.

At number 2, I'm surprised to see the Oklou album, choke enough, which frankly was one of my least favorite pop highlights of 2025.

And at number 1, it's my boys. It's the Viagra Boys. The band is continuing on a really great and entertaining streak for sure, and it's always fire to see them getting some accolades.
